Born in 1953, the son of architect Jean-Charles Louis Beaufils, Jean-Luc was immersed in art from his earliest childhood. Sensitive to color, he has worked on this subject for over forty years, blending it with a post-Cubist movement influenced by the masters Picasso, Braque, and Matisse.

His exhibitions in France and abroad are countless, having been presented on every continent, from London to New York, from Boston to Seoul, from Tokyo to Geneva.
