The Pipat House

Antique furniture and objects are presented alongside modern and contemporary pieces, an assumed bias revealing the quality of our pieces, sometimes several hundred years old.

It was Ulysses PIPAT, a rag-picker by trade, who modestly inaugurated this family activity, moving from village to village, perhaps guided by a first name which predisposed him to undertake a traveling and unprecedented adventure… Good for him! He gradually developed his business, refined it and his children even more. Patiently, our family accumulated a wide knowledge in the field of antiquity and art objects. These skills acquired and transmitted for more than a century now justify our presence at major antique fairs in Paris and in the provinces. We buy, sell and appraise in France and around the world, fortunately moving faster than our Ulysses on foot!
