Large Parisian Porcelain Vase, 19th Century

It is an elegant piece that this very high baluster vase from Napoleon III period. On a characteristic midnight blue background, white and gold leafy scrolls escape. In a central cartouche surrounded by a fleur-de-lys frieze, a joyful and colourful bouquet of roses, dahlias and orchids, carnations, violets and anemones blossoms. The very high golden collar dotted with blue patterns is adorned on its lip with a pretty golden frieze of Gothic rosettes.

Without any mark under its base, this large Napoleon III vase is nevertheless unable to hide its Parisian origin! All concurs to recognize here a very beautiful production of Porcelaine de Paris.
