Homme Debout Wardrobe, 19th Century

Two doors separated by a drawer are soberly molded but adorned with an original polychromy, all red and black. This piece of furniture called “Standing Man” (Homme debout) or “Standing Jean” (Jean debout) is close to the bonnetière and characteristic of French Vendée furniture. Ours is in very good condition.
