Oil on Canvas Signed Bruno Perino (born in 1925), 20th Century

This luminous oil on canvas entitled Pears on a red table cloth is hand signed by the painter Bruno Perino. In 1967, and after a career in the bank, Perino intends to devote himself to painting and sets up at his home, in Chambéry, a workshop which he will open to the public until 1995. The place, which has also become an exhibition hall, attracts him a loyal clientele and collectors.

His works, impregnated with those of Cézanne and Gauguin, exude a simplicity and a childlike wonder full of poetry while his touch, frank and confident, reveals a beautiful technical mastery.
