Japanese Imari-style Porcelain Vase with a Gilt Bronze Mount Depicting a Dragon, 19th Century

Arita porcelain, also known as Imari, is recognizable by its characteristic rust and blue hues. Due to its popularity upon its creation in the late 18th century, many workshops attempted to produce it. Our vase is a prime example. In very good condition, it features a gilt bronze mount in the form of two dragons.
