Four Art Deco Mahogany Chairs, Late 19th – Early 20th Century

With their straight, architectural lines, solid mahogany construction, and tiger-striped upholstery, these four chairs, dating from the very beginning of the Art Deco period, still bear the imprint of Art Nouveau floral motifs on their backrests. Elegant and comfortable, these four dining chairs assert their character by combining the rigor of the style with the softness of the upholstery stripes, reminiscent of fur.
