Among them, the taste for the representation of domestic and farm animals accompanies a fantasized return to nature while industry prospers in the cities and fuels the rural exodus. The memory of a peaceful life, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, is embodied in particular in the animals that occupy the meadows.
