This young drummer, mounted on a pony, parades proudly in soldier’s uniform, helmet on his head and cutlass on the pommel. In each hand, a gilded bronze stick marks the rhythm of the march and will soon strike a drum that is also gilded. But on closer inspection, this drum reveals a secret!
