Small Enameled Cache Pot, 19th Century

Inspired by Chinese cloisonné enamels, this small enameled bronze planter also responds to the Troubadour taste which immerses itself in a joyful although often fantasized medieval art. The surface punctuated with sprigs of lily of the valley and the Renaissance beaded decorations are all delightful quotes from this era which rediscovered ancient French heritage. This small planter still has its brass lining and is in perfect condition.
