Rouen Earthenware Terrine, 18th Century

This grand feu decor, inseparable from Rouen, marked the last great hours of this production, which soon faced competition from porcelain. This scalloped-shaped terrine has a very beautiful decoration of a cornucopia, a bouquet of flowers and butterflies and a shaped handle and flower motif. The terrine, superb, is in very good condition.
