Pair of solid silver candlesticks, 19th century
The subject is original and charming! Two young tritons carry on their heads binet and bobèche, thus forming delicate candlesticks in solid silver. Chiselling and modelling are particularly successful for these objects whose total weight is 611 grams. Difficult to photograph but nevertheless very present, a swan hallmark indicates a foreign origin. Perfect condition.
