Pair of Bronze Candlesticks, 19th Century
Two winged Cupids draped in the antique style each carry the arms of the chandelier, divided into two lights. It is a charming and unusual decor of flowers that balances the whole. Binets and bobèches are finely chiselled with interlacing and floral friezes. The palm-shaped bases evoke the return from Egypt style and behind these candlesticks one can guess the eclectic taste of the Napoleon III style. The set is in perfect condition.
