Napoleon III Wall Showcase, Circa 1860

Indispensable for the Napoleon III interior, the small wall display case allows you to display small collectibles at eye level. Here, the richly molded pediment is not the only carefully decorated element. The entire surface of the showcase is adorned with a very modern marquetry of cubes with shimmering reflections. Under the pediment, a shelf carried by two molded consoles crowns a mirror in front of which art objects multiply as if by magic. Then, below, the showcase opens with a glass door revealing two shelves. The turbulent shaped back of the cabinet also leaves space on the sides. The whole is in very good condition.
