This fishing boat in tempest seems saved, help is coming from all sides. It was time, the rocks were getting closer! This oil on canvas meets all the codes of marine paintings and shipwreck scenes. Overcast and threatening weather, chaotic sea where we guess the strength of the swell in a beautiful mastery of transparency and rendering of the vaporous foam. The warm light suggests a beginning of calm, which does not however minimize the urgency of the situation for these sailors.
