Large Girard Barrère Thomas Globe, Between 1935 and 1939
This globe is remarkable for its size. Raised on a wooden foot turned on an aluminum axis, it may date from the second half of the 1930s since Persia became Iran in 1935 (and this new name appears clearly on our globe) while Siam did not It has not yet become Thailand, which will happen in 1939. The sculpture is in very good condition.
