Dressing Table, 1920s-1930s
This charming dressing table straddles the line between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. While still receptive to movement and floral and plant motifs, it borrows from Art Nouveau. However, its straight lines and geometric shapes reveal an Art Deco sensibility. The top, drawers, and uprights are inlaid with delightful patterns, and the beveled mirror is in perfect condition. Several drawers provide storage for hair accessories or beauty products. A lovely piece of furniture whose usefulness remains relevant even in the age of social media, this small dressing table is in excellent condition.
