Cupboard with Double Evolution Opening Doors. Louis XIV Period, 17th Century
All in oak, this imposing piece of furniture takes up the great lines which mark the reign of Louis XIV: classic circular pediment, carved and molded door tables in not very lively and serious forms. This Parisian work incorporates a double evolution to each of the doors allowing them to be opened entirely or only partially and more elegantly. The carefully crafted ironwork extends from the lock escutcheons to the espagnolette and hinges. Very good condition.
