Bordeaux cabinet, Louis XV, 18th century
Emblematic piece of Bordeaux furniture, this mahogany wardrobe from the Louis XV period has beautiful doors with acanthus leaf scrolls topped by a cornice in the shape of a gendarme hat. As on all these 18th century cabinets, the cremone bolt and the interior ironwork are particularly neat. Note that this Louis XV period wardrobe is in perfect condition without having been restored since its creation in the 18th century.
