Art Nouveau Solid Silver Display Stand, 19th Century

This three-trays display stand weighs 1,666 grams of solid silver. The upper, main tray is shaped like a blooming flower beneath two leaf-shaped trays. The details of the pistil, petals, and leaf veins are beautifully rendered. The whole piece is rooted in a stem made of leaves and buds, in the center of which is a naiad, an aquatic nymph familiar with fresh waters. The set is unsigned and in perfect condition.
