Gilded Wood Sun Mirror, 20th Century

A very beautiful rarity that this huge sponsored mirror all in carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. Two superimposed rows of sculpted rays encircle a circular mirror and give it a sculptural depth. One will appreciate the finesse and remarkable proportions of this unique mirror which may date from the 20th century but is possibly older.
