Bordeaux Wardrobe, Cuban Mahogany, 18th Century
Emblematic piece of furniture of the Bordeaux region during the reign of Louis XV, the mahogany wardrobe was was a ceremonial piece of furniture, expensive because it was made of exotic wood, and particularly appropriate as a wedding gift. Our piece, all in molded cuban mahogany and in very good condition, respects the great characteristics of this high-end furniture: “chapeau de gendarme” top, ornate ironwork bolt (cremone) and, above all, elegant interior shelves with a slightly turbulent line, allowing the display of Chinese porcelain, silverware and other rare or luxurious pieces.
In the lower part, a storage unit with two lockable doors.
