Pair of Enameled Gilded Bronze Candlesticks, 19th Century
A pure creation from the second half of the 19th century, this pair of candlesticks admirably combines the Louis XV style with the memory of medieval enamels. Putti, beautifully draped and adopting a clever contrapposto, each hold a stem on which hatch bobèche and binet decorated with enameled motifs. A reminder of these motifs is found on each gilded bronze base. The ensemble is in perfect condition. This pieece is in perfect condition.
