Buffet / Sideboard Attributable to Majorelle, Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau must be experienced on a grand scale! An abundant movement par excellence, it stretches across architecture, on walls, and adorns furniture and windows. Art Nouveau is not a salon style, it is a total style which must bring in and show nature everywhere.
In this way, our buffet is almost a true piece of architecture. The upper part rises between two cupboards which act like the uprights of a portico. The lower part, like a podium, gives height to its molded patterns. Dark wood ivy snakes lively across light wood doors. From a tall piece of furniture, all we remember astonishingly is the movement. The pull handles are skillfully carved into the shape of twisted stems and leaves. The set in perfect condition is spectacular and can possibly be accompanied by a marble top console which was created with the sideboard.
