Il fut le cur\u00e9 de la paroisse d&rsquo;Ars pendant 41 ans et lui revient le titre, d\u00e9cid\u00e9 par Pie XI en 1929, de \u00ab\u00a0patron de tous les\u00a0cur\u00e9s\u00a0de l&rsquo;Univers\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\nSa vie rocambolesque est, aux dires de certains, accompagn\u00e9e de faits\u00a0surnaturels\u00a0(miracles) et\u00a0pr\u00e9ternaturels\u00a0(infestations diaboliques). Toutefois, il ne fait aucun doute qu\u2019il \u00e9tait dou\u00e9 d\u2019un singulier talent marchand pour financer ses bonnes \u0153uvres.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Cette sculpture en terre cuite patin\u00e9e et en tr\u00e8s bon \u00e9tat diff\u00e8re de celles qui repr\u00e9sentent d\u2019ordinaire le cur\u00e9.
