With the refinement of crystal and half-crystal production methods, opalines are becoming more and more accessible and deviate from their mineral model of the beginning of the century. From the years of the Restoration under Louis-Philippe and Charles X, opalines were enriched, for the most luxurious, with new colors and textures, novelties particularly appreciated by a century which multiplied technological advances in color chemistry. Enhanced with golden borders, these two vases in perfect condition were probably to adorn a living room or refresh a bedroom.<\/p>\n
