This artist, who became an official painter of the Navy in 1973, has won several prizes thanks to works oriented towards life on the coast. This former student of the \u00c9cole d’Estienne in Paris from 1933 to 1937 stood out in artistic circles for his characteristic touch drawing both on Cubism and on the optical works of Robert and Sonia Delaunay. Several works by Marcel Depr\u00e9 are now kept at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris<\/a>, the National Marine Museum<\/a> and the Museum of Baux-de-Provence.
