All in mahogany, our sideboard has three shelves, each raised with a white marble top. The whole rises on high feet which give a lot of lightness and elegance to this service shelf. The JME stamp naturally corresponds to that of the Jurande of the Master Carpenters and Cabinetmakers (which disappeared with the Revolution) while the name of Moreau designates Louis Moreau (1740 &#8211; 1802). This renowned cabinetmaker supplies nothing less than the highest aristocracy as well as the superintendency of the Menus-Plaisirs du Roi, who orders him on several occasions, in particular in 1786.
