The spacers and the narrow space between the two drawer bodies are a reminder that this type of desk required that you sit at an angle: one knee under the writing surface and the other outside. The choice of this position is then imposed by the sword, always set on the left.<\/p>\n

Everywhere, the marquetry of kingwood in perfect condition draws elegant geometrical patterns in milling among which we recognize ferns, butterfly wings and fans.
