Born in Naples, Italy, he emigrated to France in 1909 and began exhibiting at the <i>Salon des Artistes Fran\u00e7ais<\/i> in 1913, continuing to show his work there regularly until 1936. Renowned for his female nudes and his sculptural mastery of the Art Deco aesthetic, Amedeo Gennarelli was a low-profile yet highly regarded artist.
