He was the parish priest of Ars for 41 years and was granted the title, by Pius XI in 1929, of &#8220;patron saint of all parish priests in the world.&#8221;<br \/>\nHis eventful life is, according to some, accompanied by supernatural (miracles) and preternatural (demonic infestations) events. However, there is no doubt that he possessed a remarkable business acumen to finance his charitable works. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This patinated terracotta sculpture, in very good condition, differs from those that usually depict the parish priest.
