With its simple, round dial, elegant clockmaker’s 4, and gilt bronze decoration, this 19th-century clock remains faithful to the lightness of the Louis XVI style, with its ribbons and pine cone. The eagle, whose outstretched wings support the clock dial, evokes the Empire, probably the Second Empire, with its taste for floral flourishes. The clock rests on a marble and gilt bronze pedestal and is in perfect condition. <\/p>\n
