This model is one of the variants created especially by the artist for the Manufacture de Choisy-le-Roi, of which he became artistic director in 1889.<\/p>\n<p>It must be said that the artist lacks neither talent nor references. His father is none other than Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, a famous sculptor much appreciated by Napoleon III.
